In 1969 Simon & Garfunkel Became very popular with music lovers of all ages (Mainly Bridge over troubled waters), So CBS created a TV special and Preemptied "The Leslie Uggins Show". The special called "Songs of America" (Thier First) allowed them to play thier music with scenes of America. Also rare in the studio footage, along with unseen concert footage. This special sent ratings through the roof, and made Simon & garfunkel household names. This Rare DVD is that full broadcast, with all the original commercials.
